Cancellation Policy
1. Service Type This policy applies to general house cleaning services booked as a single visit or on an as‑needed basis. There is no ongoing subscription or recurring schedule attached to this service. 2. Duration of Service Each general clean is booked for a set duration agreed at the time of booking. Cleaners will complete as many tasks as possible within the allocated time. If additional time is required, it must be approved and scheduled in advance. 3. Scope of Work A standard general clean includes: Dusting and wiping accessible surfaces Vacuuming and mopping floors Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors) Cleaning kitchen surfaces (benchtops, stovetop, exterior of appliances) Emptying bins Light tidying Tasks not included unless pre‑arranged: Deep cleaning Oven or fridge interior cleaning Window cleaning Wall washing Laundry or dishwashing Heavy lifting or moving furniture 4. Client Responsibilities Ensure the property is accessible at the scheduled time. Provide a safe and tidy environment so cleaners can work efficiently. Inform the cleaner of any delicate, fragile, or high‑value items. Secure pets if necessary. 5. Rescheduling & Cancellations A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations may incur a fee equal to the booked service. 6. Payment Terms Payment is due on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed. Additional tasks or extended time will be billed separately. 7. Quality Assurance Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of the service. The cleaner will make reasonable efforts to address issues promptly. 8. Health & Safety Cleaners will not handle hazardous materials or perform tasks that pose safety risks. Cleaners may refuse service if the environment is unsafe or excessively unsanitary beyond normal household conditions.
